WORKING PRINCIPLE
The CNPS-BC Pump Punch Speed Sensor is an inductive proximity switch sensor used in the oil field to measure pump or turntable speed. 2, installation and use: The pumping sensor can be fixed to the mud pump head by the bracket, or the appropriate part of the turntable, and the closest distance between the position of the sensing surface of the measured object and the end surface of the sensor is within 30 mm.

General fault judgment and elimination If the pump and the rotary speed sensor use no signal output under normal rotation, first observe whether the indicator light on the sensor flashes accordingly. If the indicator light is off or steady, check whether the extension cable is open or shorted. After determining that the extension cable is normal, test the operating voltage of the sensor, and there should be a corresponding working voltage between the brown and black of the lead line. If the working voltage is normal, the metal body can be close to the end face of the sensor, the indicator light should be on, and should be off when away, otherwise the sensor is damaged. If the sensor is not damaged, adjust the distance between the sensor and the measured object until the indicator light is on and off. If the pump speed indicator is faulty, it must be completely sealed at the factory. It cannot be disassembled and repaired on site, and needs to be repaired by the factory.
Maintenance Strictly follow the wire color standard wiring marked in this manual. It must be powered by the tributary power supply and ensure that the power supply ripple factor is <3%. Care should be taken not to use metal shavings or oil stains with metal shavings to contaminate the sensing surface to avoid magnetic short circuits and malfunction of the sensor. The installation point should be kept away from direct sunlight to improve its reliability. Do not exceed the rated technical parameters using the laying of the cable, so as not to hinder the on-site operation of the well site staff and the safety and reliability of the erection. If the power line and power line pass near the proximity of the switch point line, in order to prevent the proximity switch from malfunction or damage, shield it with a separate metal tube. Due to the different assembly positions, the number of pulses generated by the sensor does not necessarily match the pump stroke and the rotational speed, and can be solved by setting the correction factor by the receiving instrument. When the proximity switch uses an inductive load, if the system has a large interference pulse, clear the interference pulse suppression device near the proximity switch terminal.
